When to Share with a Child
Can I provide human excellence training to a young child?
Yes, but not in the sense that the lessons are the same in detail
and concept that adults would study. Children have a very limited
ability to comprehend concepts at a young age.
Comprehension is something that develops along with life experience.
Most people don't fully develop comprehension ( the main ingredient
of common sense ) until their mid twenties.
That is why you still see young people, males especially in their late
teens and early twenties in the news reports for being hurt doing
something thoughtless and careless. To them it seemed like a
good or ok idea at the time while they were caught up in the
moment, feelings and thought.
The basic foundation for a lifestyle filled with quality human excellence
can be shared with young children, but do remember that you must
instruct them on their imagination channel so while they are
playing none of your instruction is getting through.
You must get their undivided attention which is very difficult when children
are prone to shifting focus and strong imagination diversions.
This focus shifting combined with limited knowledge and life experience
is what makes it so difficult to share organized and interconnected
concepts with children.
It can be done, but slowly and in small mentally digestible pieces.
